There are no cookies
SysAdmin Crisis sets no cookies of any kind — not functional ones, not analytics ones, not third-party ones. Nothing on these pages writes a cookie, and nothing reads one.
What is stored locally instead
The game keeps a handful of values in your browser's own storage, so that closing a tab does not throw away your shift. None of it leaves the device and none of it is sent anywhere.
| Stored as | What it is for |
|---|---|
| sysadmin-crisis:save | The shift in progress, so you can pick it up where you left it. |
| sysadmin-crisis:campaign | Campaign progress: which nights are unlocked and the reputation carried between them. |
| sysadmin-crisis:high-scores | Your local top-ten table for endless runs. |
| sysadmin-crisis:settings | Language, font size, high contrast and the sound switches. |
| Offline app cache | A copy of the game's own files, held so the page still opens with no connection. |
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist for storage that is not needed to deliver what you asked for: tracking, profiling, advertising, measurement. None of that happens here. What is stored is strictly necessary functional storage — your save and your settings — kept because a game that forgets your shift is not the game you asked for. Storage of that kind does not require consent, and a banner asking for it would be theatre.
Clearing it
Clear site data for this site in your browser settings, or play in a private window if you would rather nothing persisted at all. Either way the game still runs; it just starts every shift from scratch. On mobile, uninstalling the app clears everything it stored.
Third-party storage
There is none. With no embedded content from other domains, nothing else is in a position to write storage here in the first place.
Written in plain language on purpose. It describes how the game actually behaves; it is not legal advice.
